Surreal art is to seem so bizzare and weird yet so close to hyper realism that it comes off that it could in fact be real somewhere.

There are images I posted that can fall under this.

Not creepy anime girls with knives and loldarkscary settings.

Most of them aren't supposed to be creepy or loldarkscary. If it makes you feel better, perhaps I should have labeled them as "abstract" instead, though when I think abstract I have slightly different imagery in mind. Less focused on the objects in the image and more on what your mind can make with the image.




Surreal. Surreal art doesn't have to use "realistic colors" if that's what's bothering you.
