Several days had passed, I had lab scientists performing daily check-routines on me to make sure I was alright. I didn’t understand at all. I remember asking one of them “Why are.. you guys performing all of these tests on me?”, I was curious. “Ah, long story short, you’re a special soldier. You’re chosen as a soldier to work for us.”, the man replied.
I scratched my head and began to deliver some questions. “How come I don’t remember anything? Why is it hard to walk..?”, I rubbed my eyes as I asked him. He was standing at a table holding onto a needle and started to insert some sort of fluid or liquid into it. Suddenly, with the needle in his right hand, he smiled and said “Well, you’ve had a major concussion to your head. You were on a mission and something attacked you, which is why you don’t remember anything. Let me begin by letting you know that your name is Zan.”, he reached over towards me and injected my right arm.
I felt re-energized and jumped off the bed, and started to do a couple light jabs at the air. I felt like I could accomplish anything. Suddenly, the doctor smiled at me and said “Don’t worry, it’s not like it’s steroids or anything, haha.”, he laughed.
I cringed and asked “What’s a.. steroids?”. My curiosity caused the room to be completely silent, as the scientist just paused. After about 3 seconds, he laughed. “Haha, right, never mind. You’re still trying to recuperate, it’s going to take a while until you understand some words and things again, Zan.”
“ . . . . “, I scratched my head and that was it.
A couple months had passed, and I was now wearing a uniform. I’m in a special force that hunts down wanted people. Imagine assassins, something similar to that. Well, it’s a long story..
