"ITT" has never been funny, helpful or needful either. Like all the memes before it, it does nothing but posted the obvious.

I agreed with your post up until here. ITT isn't always used in a disrespectful manner.

We saw incidences of this even during the period we were discussing it - That's what sealed it's fate.

And what incidence might this have been? As you are saying it now, it doesn't appear to me that you have to "go searching" for such dramatic events, as you can recall the incidence off of the top of your head.

Saying we have to justify that our posts MEAN something, and that we must justify that if we can't post something, is just downright silly. Have we always needed to say "I posted this to explain how silly your post was, and therefore it has meaning and I needed to post this to show you how silly it was."?
