fixing the glitch

"Loads of people"? Seriously, I doubt that "Loads of people" are going to quit with a week setback. If they keep everything aside from exp/levels the same (all Yellonde chars would just be back at level 1 with all of their current items so nicks won't be changed or w/e), I really doubt people are going to quit over it.


The only kind of "proof" that I found as far as it being any sort of "glitch" is that TiaraYellonde(GM) smega'd saying that those abusing a glitch to get the top ranks wouldn't go unpunished. I can't see ANY feasible thing except to rollback the exp.

IMO, they never said a boss monster CAN'T be affected by things like poison, shadow web, etc. It is their game, and they CAN edit what counts as a "boss".

Personally, knock the exp to either 250k or 500k, remove Shadow Web and other effects, and leave Poison Mist and Doom. That way FPs finally have a boss to hunt after not having one, the exp would be mediocre(killing 8 with reduction would be same as 1 now), and everyone would be...less...ticked?


I guess they could just rollback FPs/Hermits, but I don't think that sounds completely fair. :/

if they were to lower the exp, it would only be fair to lower the hp of it as well. In the QA thread, someone asked how they would go about poisoning BF, so they are not going to remove that from it. The shadow web damage (i have a SS of someone doing 1 mil damage with it) is a real big problem. The glitch with poison mist just needs to have the damage dealt lowered to a way more reasonable damage rate.

As for the levels gained by F/P mages/NLs/Hermits by these glitches...selective rollbacks are possible, and they should be implanted, if people quit just because they gained x amount of levels because of a glitch that they knew about, then they shouldnt even be playing in the first place.

and about the KSing .. it's a boss, whether the data says so or not. when i see a bigfoot, i mist it. i don't look for who is on the map doing 1k damage with their arrow rain. why? because if i don't mist it, another f/p will and then i lose my chance. just take it in stride, friend. every man for themself, especially with such godly exp.

this pissed me off big time. You think that just because its a boss, and just because your a F/P mage that is abusing a glitch, that it is god given duty to Poison Mist the damn thing when someone else is already killing it. Thats like me coming to your house, killing your pets, and saying "well, i needed the food that your pets could give to me" thats completely sad for you to say something like that, and id be willing to bet that without this glitch, you would have stayed below level 100 and quit. so GFYS.
