Why does everyone hate Naruto?

I don't hate it. I just think it was silly. I watched it last year or something, didn't really enjoy most of it but at the end I just wanted to finish the whole thing.
I don't know much about anime or manga, I have watched some and I "love"/like really few ones.

As for why some might hate it? Because it's childish, tries to cover interesting topics but it does it in such a cheezy/ silly way, some chapters are a waste, most scenes are a waste aswell, not so perv as other...I don't know...people can hate something for serveral reasons.
