There's a pretty good chance that WKO's service would become just as pomegranatety as Nexon's once they discovered that "free-to-play" it literally a gold mine exploding with riches so you don't need to do anything at all to deserve them. All Nexon is going to do is speed up that process. But in the end, what happens with any given game comes down to what the boss wants. If the boss isn't a completely pomegranatety person he'll continue pushing for good customer service. At least until Nexon feels like it's affecting their potential profits and demands they knock it off, but that's still a long time away. They'll go through a stage of observing income for several months, jacking up prices, observing income again, and finally cutting corners.
Sorry about that, I was focusing my comment on your last sentence.
I don't think Nexon is going to fully assimilate them into their "pineapple the customer" policies.
But yes you do make a good point. I did forget that the GMs in DFO are pretty good, so things might not be all bad.
After further reading, I don't think this will effect us (AO or WKO players) mainly because, "It's not any merger or take-over, and it's only acquired as an asset, one can only realise that there will be no change. The staff will remain the same, the devs will remain the same, the stupid ideas/nerfs will remain the same, but the proffit will go to Nexon. That's what this is all about." But only time will tell.
