I absolutely love rumcake and cheesecake, and I absolutely love the soft, moist, spongy texture of a cake as well a certain sweetness they have. However- icing is always a ruining factor- especially in birthday cake, unless it is chocolate icing.
Going to have to say pie by a pretty close call. I'm a total sucker for the crust and how well it tastes when I eat it with the contents of the pie. Apple pie is particularly excellent.
