One thing I have to say after trying these out: Wow.
Using a Painkiller (30 minutes) to time, I gained roughly 16% in a span of half an hour. That's 32% an hour; I was KBed to the left stair-like platforms several times (About 5 times if I counted right), and even fell off the whole map once, so I assume that if I hadn't fallen off the map, I would get maybe 34% an hour. I'm level 91 with level 25 Eruption. I accidentally copied over my "before" screenshot, so I can't provide screenshot proof now, but next time I get to training there, I certainly will.
A few more tips from me, after spending about 45 minutes there:
-Since Typhons have a fairly long KB, your Eruption/Rain KB will keep them flinching long enough so that they will rarely have a chance to super-KB you.
-You want to be facing left when you Erupt/Rain so that they are KBed to the left, so that if you are super-KBed, you will fly to the right, safely into the wall.
-Their super-KB, in turn, stuns you for about a second or two, leaving you open to more attacks. Try to get out of this and react as quickly as possible to avoid this.
-Use Inferno or Blizzard along with Eruption/Rain to lure the Typhons to you if they are too far away for Eruption/Rain to reach. Typhons are immune to ice, so you won't have to worry about them freezing.
-Sometimes they decide to be faggots and stay at the top of the map, so occasionally (And I did this like, twice) you will have to climb up the rope to lure the Typhons back down.
-If you do what I mentioned above, do NOT try to kill the Typhons while you're on the top/middle of the map, as you have no wall to protect you if they super-KB you, and you might fall off the map/fall far from your regular spot.
-You WILL gobble up HP pots like a paper shredder training here, but:
-The heavy money drops cover a lot of the price, plus the surplus of scrolls from Baby Typhons you might be able to sell for a quick buck.
-Baby Typhons can and will stun you if you get close when you try to loot, so be careful.
-Try to loot only when you don't have any Typhons agro'd towards you, othwerise throw out a Puppet whenever you loot. (lol as if this wasn't already instinct)
-Pots: I'd probably recommend something like Barbs to heal you every three Typhon hits. The little spike doesn't do much to protect you; you're hit by the Typhon much more often. They hump you for about 400 to 500 damage depending on equips.
To sum it all up, training here is like a high-level version of both Gryphons and Pirates; high money drops, heavy pot usage. It's great exp though, possibly the best pre-Newtie (The exp might even be comparable to Newties, I don't know rates on them though) Bowman training out there. The only real problem is getting here for those who struggle with the JQ; even getting to the JQ might be a problem due to our low HP, but it's well worth it.
EDIT: Drops, after 45ish minutes of training, probably more, I stopped timing after the painreliever ran out. I started at 46% btw. As you can probably tell, I gushed all my pots out of my ass. Went from 371 Barbs to 2. MP wasn't much of a problem though, started at something around 400. I didn't really keep track. (Next time I test this I promise I'll be more organized
) Used an Elixir the whole time.
