Whoa, whoa, whoa. It shouldn't benefit everyone, that's ridiculous. It should be accessible to everyone and the greater benefits should be available to those who work the hardest. The benefits can be both guaranteed or luck based, but everyone has the same chances (though, those with money have better chances thanks to gach scrolls). Regardless, this event is completely fair as it is, and I say that having failed 2 out of my 3 glasses scrolls so far.
And I think you're reading way too much into what you think Nexon's intentions were. There's nothing clear about them wanting people to use Chaos Scrolls on the glasses. Nexon really doesn't care about the economy, they would much prefer people be gaching for those 50/80 scrolls than using the pre-existing chaos scrolls.
