They were just walking, and had no way of knowing what was going to happen. It was so quiet when there was no sound, but when there was sound, everything was silent. He woke up from the sound of the silent noise, which did not stop ringing. He was tired still, but was in no place to sleep in the first place. It came to a hault. He jumped off from the top of the subway train he clung to, with no real destination. Nothing seemed worth running from, that's what his eyes told him, but he relied more on his head. He started to make his way through the dark station. It's so odd how the subway trains still run. There were no people there, he was alone again in a place where someone is not likely to be alone. In a literal sense. He came up onto the streets, even though he knew it may not have been the best choice. After the silent noise that shook them, everyone acted like their world was caving in on them, like an ant hill, everyone was terrified. Despite this, it was still silent, at least, through his eyes. His headphones reassured him that it was only his eyes, though. It was waste. Violence and worse, all sorts of sin and crime. He expected as much. He looked to his left as he was just near the entrance to the station, and noticed a worn-out wooden baseball bat lying in a pile of trash, and more. The bat was his best bet for now. He had just another weapon in his arsenal, whether physical or not. The song changed to something that almost shocked him. It was a much quieter song than the last, that made him forget about dealing with other people. He began to walk slowly around, observing the chaos around him, which was drained out by the calm song, which brought deep thought. It was beginning. His very own silence.
