EDIT: Hold on, how did you go from (3(1+2h+h^2)-3)/h to (3+6h+h^2-3)/h?
lol made an mistake.
(3(1+2h+h^2)-3)/h = (3+6h+3h^2-3)/h
final answer = 6+3h
h is a variable, so the slope would be different depending on what h is.
