While trying to realize what I'm doing wrong when willing to catch Suicine. (Which I caught, finally) Out of nowhere, a Shiny Koffing appeared! So I had to switch to Scizor to False Swipe (Comes in handy when trying to catch Pokemon) and catch it using a Dusk Ball.

That was unexpected. This is my very first shiny I ever encountered and caught in my whole life. This is on Heart Gold BTW.
