People can live how they want, I am not God, so I won't play that "You people need to go out more" card. I think confidence depends on social-interaction experiences. The more you engage in conversations with others in your social-group, the more you get accustomed to society, and it makes it easier to approach others. If you wish to live in your house and go out very rarely, that's fine too. There isn't a right or wrong way. If you have enough money for your entire life, why work, right? Then there are people who wants to go out to experience things for themselves.
Have fun at what you do and enjoy it to the maximum, might not last forever.
I only prefer to go out instead of being a recluse like I used to many years back. I'm one of those happy-perverts that enjoys talking to women and getting the chance to hit on them, getting to know them, and enjoying scenery and what-not with my friends. I enjoy staring at the sky and going out wherever the road takes me. I enjoy it so much that I'd rather do that than to stay inside, but that is just me. My reasons might not even be clearly defined or even understandable to others, but this is the best I can do to explain 'me'.
