I think it may be best for you to not invest in an ele wand 1 until you start pumping points into Earthquake aka lvl 100.
I used Fire Breath on occasion while training at himes but thrust seemed to be my main atk skill...something about the charge ups didn't sit right with me.
But Earthquake makes things so much better...I haven't had a chance to use it during a training session yet but I will tomorrow. Only lvl 4 and hitting 45k crits on fire weak monsters
