Done both of those.

The mechanics of xDVAnnn.sys is that it's created, placed in systerm 32, and then when you are done playing the game it is deleted.

I just went through the security options for LaTaleClient.exe and give it full control for system, admins, and normal users. Going to test what it does now.

EDIT: Didn't help much. It gets to the loading screen, loads to about 30% and then BSODs. It's a step up, but maybe I just got lucky.
