Me and my mum will go through around 8 pints of milk every few days or so. I haven't had milk expire on me in a very long time, back when we used to get 2 pints of milk delivered daily with 4 on Fridays and Saturdays each. We wasted so much milk then, but our milkman decided to just stop delivering to us so we had to go to the shop and buy it.
We also buy the 4% milk or whatever the blue label one is. It tastes better, imo. And we (sometimes) cook using milk so it's better for that.
