I agree with a quick spellcheck.
One thing I dislike about Aion is that it copies WoW in every single aspect. The abyss, the wars, etc. WoW has them. Even the portal that opens up every hour to TP you to the other races' side. I think you underestimate their class system though. Although they are "archtypal" there is a HUGE difference between a templar and a gladiator. Templars are so EFFING funny during wars. They can grapple up to a certain number of enemies and drag them towards yourself. In PvP this is EXTREMELY useful when paired up with trap laying archers. Gladiators aren't tanks, they are meant to break down castle walls, while templars tank.
As for skills, Stigmas add a different types of fighting style, but like in all MMOs, people find "the best" and it then becomes cookie cutter. The classes are definitely NOT balanced. Doing a town raid, my friends and I (all assassins) decided to round up ALL the human assassins. We formed 4 teams full of assassins (24). Not only were we invincible, but we managed to kill all of the NPCs at the town. We didn't even die.
The abyss is gay if you aren't an assassin. Why? Because assassins find their prey in the abyss.

This is just one, imagine 24 of them in the abyss. I must emphasize again, this game already has everything WoW has. I was pretty disappointed reaching 50 because it does not have much to offer players past 25. WoW may have been out longer, but in no way does Aion try to be "different" or innovative. Flying doesn't count either.
Before I forget, Priest destroy everything endgame. They are practically invincible. Assassins are good in #'s, but if you have the same exact amount of high level priests. =/
