KaidaTan Wrote:It's serious. Kasumi is her name in the Japanese version, so I was wondering what it means since pretty much every name has a meaning over there. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the way it works is that each name is made up of Kanji and Hiragana, but the Kanji aren't always pronounced how you would normally pronounce them in a word.
Oh, really? I've never really partook in anything Pokemon except for the first three games when I was around 10 years old. lol 香澄 is what I would assume her name would be, going by IME. http://jisho.org/kanji/details/%E9%A6%99%E6%BE%84
I could be wrong on that, though, but that's the most common "Kasumi" according to the IME program.
There's also 加寿美 鹿住 香純 佳澄 I don't know if any of these are actually names, though. Lol
Edit : Okay, I googled it and this came up as Misty's JP name (though, I don't know if this is true) : 水知香澄
香澄 being the right "kasumi"
