For speed, you can surf in victory road and you'll only encounter golbats which give 2 speed. Also in Diamond/Pearl/Plat. I don't have anything on HG/SS as I don't have them yet.
I dunno. I should have had a full party full of Pokerus-infected Pokemon if it had spread before I deposited them into the PC. None of the 3 Pokemon that I caught stayed in my party, that they all went into Box 1 the moment I caught it.
