Greetings Pokemon trainers of south perry. I have taken it upon myself to create my own Pokemon league here on South Perry. As stated in the title of the thread it will be called:
The Spectrum League
I myself have been amazed by Soul Silver and Heart Gold, finally bringing the longlost Johto League back into the fourth generation of gameplay. I had never played the original game(s) (sorry to say) but loved the Hoenn League games then moved on to purchase the fourth generation games, Diamond and Pearl version. With my ever-growing love of the Pokemon series and the anime itself
I couldn't settle for just beating the story mode, I wanted to battle other people. After getting obliterated at school (yes, I played at school during Lunch) I needed to learn to get better, thus I learned how to EV train and IV/Nature breed and went onto competitive battling online. Now, at the peak of my Pokemon intrigue I will form the Spectrum league!
The rules are as follows:
Standard battles, all tiers allowed (with the exception of Ubers)
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the standart clauses they are as follows:
-sleep clause: The played may only inflict sleep status onto one of the foe's Pokemon at a time. This is in play in order to prevent
every game from being a "Who can get the opponents team asleep first?" type game.
-Evasiveness Clause: Pokemon may not use evasiveness raising moves. These are just annoying and do not represent player skill
whatsoever.(Abilities such as snow cloak and sand veil are allowed)
-OHKO Clause: OHKO moves are just luck-kills and do not show player skill at all.
-Same Species Clause: No two same Pokemon are allowed on the same team. No exceptions.
-Item Clause: 4 or more Pokemon may not hold the same item in one party (max= 3) with the exception of Focus Sashes and Choice items(max= 1). (Focus band, Quick claws, and Soul Dew are banned)
-Uber Clause
No Uber Pokemon are allowed. These Pokemon include:
-Mewtwo
-Mew
-Ho-oh
-Lugia
-Kyogre
-Groudon
-Rayquaza
-Deoxys (all forms)
-Dialga
-Palkia
-Giratina (both forms)
-Shaymin (sky form)
-Darkrai
-Arceus
-Manaphy
-Wobbuffet
-Garchomp
-Latios
-Selfdestruct Clause:
The moves Selfdestruct, Explosion, Perish Song, Destiny Bond, or any other such move may not be used if both players only have 1 remaining Pokemon. If a player uses one of those moves under this condition, they automatically lose.
Along with myself, 3 members of SouthPerry will be chosen to be Gym Leaders (5 Total). These will be chosen by who-ever can give me (and the second leader to be chosen) a good challenge. The first 3 people to challenge will be the first candidates. Keep in mind that should you be a gym leader you will not be able to participate in conquering the league. If you are a leader you will also be required to make your own badge with a picture editing program. Once players conquer the four gyms they will be pinned against eachother in battles to determine who the champion will be. Should the game end in a draw, there will be a rematch until a victor is found.

Gym challengers are starting ASAP, so feel free to battle AiG or Will, as you will require 3 of the badges to battle me.
"Hacked Pokemon" are allowed as long as the stats are legitimate and do not have modified abilities (example: Spiritomb with wonderguard)
Bare in mind that this is a League. Leaders will not go easy on you, HOWEVER, some of us may use less than 6 pokemon, with a minimum of 4. It is your choice on how many, assuming the leader allows it. The challenger is still free to use however many pokemon they wish.
I will be the final gym leader. Defeat all prior Leaders to face me. (I in no way claim I am the best, however)
