Shoddy Battle & NetBattle team-building

Interesting responses. I'm assuming all of you use standards as well? As in standard movesets from Smogon. I won't lie, I sort of do, but I make changes according to my own tastes and battle experience. For example, my Rhyperior that had Focus Punch. I enjoy predicting very much, it's a 50/50 for me, always. If I'm right, I hit something, if I'm wrong, either something hits me and I can't hit back, or I miss because I hit a Ghost type.

I feel like I'm too much of a noob to make new and creative movesets. I switched things up a few times - my Donphan uses Roar instead of Assurance, and my Moltres had HP Ice at one point, but I mostly base my strategies off the Smogon movesets.
