Try getting a Cradily/Abomasnow/Tangrowth and teach them Block and Ingrain.
Use Block, and if you have an Abomasnow or Tangrowth you'll need to use Ingrain as well.
Although they'll have to be faster than Raikou or Entei which might be hard. :o

Or you could have a Gengar/Jynx and use Mean Look, then Hypnosis/Sing.

A Pokemon with Taunt might work, haven't tried that yet. >_>

Wobbufett with the shadow tag ability says hi. (ignores that they have roar)

One of my favorites in terms of design. Simplistic, but I think it works pretty well. Not to mention one of the funniest gym battles I've ever had, what with her Steelix using Sunny Day on my Typlosion...

i found that the sweet demeanor was very successfully contrasted with the fact that her gym is the steel one, and she's got steelix, which looks like its ready to kill without hesitation. like seeing a little girl shooting people as a hired gun. just a perfect contrast. also koga sucks for giving his gym to his daughter and becoming a member of the new kanto E4.
