Also, you don't need to kill both thanatos, both of them drop the item you need, so if you're going with two F/Ps who both don't have elquines, just kill the fire-weak one, leave, and repeat.

That's what I was going to do, but now since the oppertunities arisen it's much faster to just go in with a F/P.
