I forget where I heard this, but someone creates a situation and the next person continues the story.

example: A Pokemon fan wins their life long dream of going to Japan. The prize includes plane tickets and an all expenses paid tour. The fan gets off the plane but the tour guide and translator are no where to be found.

EDIT: In case of a time paradox caused by lag, choose whichever path works best with your addition
