I said I wasn't going to do Etna till a little later but I wanted to experiement with a new style of shading. So I picked Etna as my guinea pig in case it turned out bad :B

I kind of liked the style. It's easier than my current style, faster to do and requires lines to be more defined. Only thin I don't like about it is it drifts further away from realism and leans more towards cartoon-ish.
Comments on it?

Like you said, it does drift away from realism, but I liked the cartoon appeal to it. I would only suggest doing this when you actually want something to look pure cartoonish.
