However, the problem I have with this graph is that f(x) = 1/x joins the line x = 0 at two different locations on opposite ends. Also, x = 0 is just a line and is undefined when you try writing it as g(x), because then you'd have to write it as g(x) = lim kx as k approaches infinity, which would cease to make sense.
