What are your views on marriages? Are you planning on being married?
#21
1) Your age?
2) Do you plan on getting married?
3) Are you going to have any sort of cohabitation?
4) Do you think cohabitation helps to avoid divorces, or increase the chances of divorce? Explain why.
5) Do you think love is essential for marriage? Explain why.
6) Do you plan on having children? If so, why, and how many?

1) 21

2) Yes, I do plan on getting married. When? Somewhere in my late 20s or early 30s. The reason for that is I want to dedicate at least the first 1/5 of my life to myself. Getting married too early makes my choices in life narrower. This is not in the "having a relationship is just baggage" sense, what I'm trying to elaborate is that I won't have the same opportunities. An example would be working abroad; sure that's possible even if you're in a relationship/married but how much strain would that place on your partner? At least if I'm alone and I'm working abroad, I can fully concentrate on my occupation and not wonder how much money I'll be sending to my significant other, if she's cheating on me, etc.

3) It's essential if I want to understand the person I'm going to share the rest of my life with.

4) Cohabitation is a gauge on how well you can tolerate the other person. I place in tolerate because you can only love a person to a certain degree. On new couples, they don't actually know what love is (heck I don't know it yet). The love they know firsthand is from family but that is a different form in its entirety. What new couples deem of what love is based on their pheromones and chemicals in the body firing wildly. Don't confuse my statement with lust.

5) Love is essential and should be the backbone on unity. Love is only developed when a person fully understands the other and accepts them. It's not some basic format where you have to do this and you accomplish love. A one-way love won't suffice, that only complicates matters (others might view it as a one-way obsession). Mutual respect is also factored into this since you can't love someone if you can't respect them. Try it on a random person.

6) My take on children is that they shouldn't be spontaneous. As much as society and family forces a married couple, sometimes it's not applicable. Don't take this on the physiological approach, if one of them is infertile, there are other ways albeit "unnatural". I don't want to bring an innocent soul in this world when I myself am suffering. I want my next generation to have as good of a life as possible.

As for the number of children, I'd say the most I'll have is two. Their gender doesn't matter.
