Mimoto raised her eyebrow, and tilted her head around to take a closer glance at the person behind her. It was a huge male, with bulging muscles and veins popping out all over his arms. Sporting a tight white T-shirt, and thick work pants, he also had his hair gelled and spiked-up. His skin was dark, and his hair was the color of auburn. This guy must have been around 6 ft in height, and has to weigh well over 200 lbs.
“ . . . What do you want?”, Mimoto questioned the strange guy as she crosses her arms.
“Heh, I see your appearance changed. Back then, when you first entered the High School, you were just like everybody. But over time, you’ve became one of the most cockiest and arrogant girls in this school. Regardless of how strong everybody here claims you are, I want to witness your power for myself. With my own eyes! Show me your strength, Mimoto!”, he cracks his knuckles and grins.
[ . . . . Idiot. ]
“You want to die? You realize the school has specific rules about not killing each other, right? Unless . . . you’re willing to risk your own life, then it’s acceptable under the school’s rules. I don’t even know you, and the fact that you’re asking to challenge me out of nowhere is not only pure idiocy, but you will get yourself killed. You have no idea who you’re up against.”, Mimoto turns around and walks away.
Everyone surrounding Mimoto and the strange guy started whispering to each other, noises could be heard through-out the hallway. Aurora on the other hand, continued to observed Mimoto’s actions.
“No, you’re coming with me, right now!”, the guy yelled, as he ran up to Mimoto and tapped her on her right shoulder. Mimoto turns around, and her eyes glowed that of a crimson color for a split-second. Her eyes showing nothing but pure rage, she glares at the guy.
“Fine, if you’re that desperate to die. So be it.”, Mimoto smirked. She dashed to the right of her and saw a small opening, it was a window. She suddenly jumped out of the window and noticed that she is 2 floors up from the ground. The sky was sunny today, and the winds were strong. As she descended, she used her right hand to pull out Shinku by the hilt.
“Shinku!”, she yelled.
[ Right.]
She held tightly onto Shinku’s hilt, and plunged the tip of the sword at the ground as hard as she could a split-second before descending upon the ground. She yanks out Shinku with ease, and looked up at the window where she jumped out of. The random guy jumped out right after her, and as he landed, his body created a violent tremor which could be heard throughout the school. Students from all over the school opened their windows and started to watch Mimoto.
“She’s fighting, again? How many challengers has this been?”
“Dunno.. but I heard this guy is willing to risk his own life, because he wants her to fight to her fullest extent, unlike the previous challengers. He wants her to use.. Shinku-tsuki. She only uses Shinku when she’s serious, other times, she just takes a couple jabs at people and they run away, guffaw~”
Wielding Shinku on her right hand, she aimed the tip of the katana at the guy’s face from far away. She slowly pivoted her legs into a horse-stance, with her right leg being in front.
[ Baka . . . He wants you to use the me as a weapon, I don’t know what his plan is, but be extremely careful. Must be pretty damn smart if he challenges you while using Shinku-tsuki… So be careful, don’t rush into a battle like an idiot. ]
“Ok, no more talking. Let’s get this over with.”, Mimoto smiled, then dashes over at the guy.
”One”, Mimoto yelled out, she swung Shinku from her right side to her left horizontally, attempting to cut the guy’s body down in half. The guy stepped back and avoided the fatal-blow. ”Two!”, she quickly jumped at the guy, and attempted at plunging the katana’s tip at his chest. He demonstrates his quick reflexes by moving his body to the right of Mimoto.
“WHAT?!”, Mimoto’s eyes widened. She has never faced such an agile opponent, for one that is of his size. Shinku missed and almost plunged directly into the ground, but Mimoto pulled him out in time, then attempted at a final attack as she turned around to face the guy.
”BREAK!”*, she screamed out loud, and thrusted Shinku as hard as she could, aiming for the guy’s face. However, he quickly caught onto her movements and style, and with his bare hands, he caught onto the blade of the katana.
(“One, Two, Break” is a skill-name for one of her techniques. It’s nothing more than a quick horizontal slash, followed by a diving-motion with the tip of the sword aimed at the target. The user then retrieves the weapon, back-jumps away, and then thrusts the sword once at the opponent’s body. In this case, Mimoto missed all 3 hits.)
“I thought you were powerful, oh-mighty Mimoto.”, the guy mocked her as he continues to hold tightly onto Shinku’s blade.
“Ok. I can stop messing with you now. You’re the first person that was able to do this, nobody I’ve fought could have predicted my movements so well. Not only that, but you could see my movements extremely well if you could have stopped me from killing you during that last strike. If you wish to see my strength, so be it. But enjoy it while you die, begging for mercy.”, Mimoto replied. Suddenly, there was a strange black aura around her body.

The power of her dark blames surrounds her entire body, and then eventually reached Shinku and covered him. The mysterious guy released Shinku in the nick of time before he got burnt.
“This.. is my power. They don’t call me Dark Fang for no reason. I have the power to draw out dark flames from within my body, and you’re the 2nd person to make me use this form. I’m a half ‘Dark Flame’ demon, and half-human. You probably realize that now, heh.”, she landed on the ground after retrieving Shinku back.
[ . . . (She remembered..) ]
“WHAT THE - - - … NOOOO! I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU!!!”, the guy became more violent and aggressive, upon seeing Mimoto’s true powers.
[ (I guess he must have been studying all of her fights up until this point, because he figured out all of her movements when she attempted at striking him at his vital-organs. Not only did he predicted them, but he could see her movements extremely well. He even stopped me from diving at his face. The fact that he is now freaking out, signifies that he doesn’t know what to do. Which means . . .) Mimoto! Now’s your chance! ]
”GaryouKuuha!”, Mimoto dashed at the guy for one last time. As she reached closer to him, she started sliding on the ground. She punched his crotch with her right hook, while he attempted to grab her, but missed entirely. She then quickly utilizes the timing to kill him, as she quickly stabbed the guy at his crotch while she’s directly beneath him. Using Shinku, she plunged it at his crotch. Blood spewed all over her, but her dark flames burnt the blood before it could even touch her body. With one quick motion, she yanked out Shinku, and back flipped away. The strange guy bled profusely, and blood was spewed all over the grass. The color of new blood and mildew created a light coloration of crimson. Mimoto continued staring at the guy, and watched as he collapses on the ground.. dead. Blood flowed out of his body, and seeped into the ground and stained the grass.
Mimoto puts Shinku away, her flames started disappearing as well. She aimed her head high at the sky, to stare at the clouds. She then fell into a kneeling position, due to overwhelming exhaustion. She started panting, and sweating. She tries to stand up, but begins limping really slowly as she makes her way up to her class.
[ … You shouldn’t use your powers like that. That was too reckless, like I said before. You’re not a full-blooded demon, you can’t use the dark flames like that, you might collapse due to exhaustion. You know better, sister. ]
Mimoto didn’t said a word, and suddenly collapsed before she could reach the stairs.

Small summary, it's basically one of those.. "FUCK YOU, BITCH! I CAN USE FLAMES~" moments that you see in anime, when the person using flames could protect themselves from harm. I just reviewed my post, and my own character reminds me of Shana from Shakugan no Shana, the Amaterasu-skill from Naruto, and Hiei's Dragon of the Darkness Flame as well as Sword of the Darkness Flame from Yu Yu Hakusho. Sure be lots of flames in anime.
Actually, I'm starting to notice that the story is reminding me of Shakugan no Shana, Yu Yu Hakusho, and a bit of Bleach. LULS. Sh't. Totally wasn't intended, but this is hot. I like it.
