Shinto

In the year 1996, in an alternate universe different from our reality, there existed a city known as Shinto. Shinto is a city located at the border of East and West Japan. The country split in half because of the struggle for power. There were two powerful overlords, with unknown names and origins. Legend has it they wield the power of the Gods themselves, Fujin (Shinto God of Wind), and Fukurokuju (Shinto God of Wisdom, Luck, and Prosperity). There are demons that scourges and rampages the land, and the overlords are the ones responsible for creating armies of demons to try to gain power over the other nation.
*Fujin, Overlord who has the power of “Shinto God of Wind” who controls East Japan
*Fukurokuju, Overlord who has the power of “Shinto God of Wisdom, Luck and Prosperity” who controls West Japan
Both powerful beings were brothers, but now are fighting for the sake of their own country as well as the control for ultimate power. Shinto is the border between both countries, and some of the most elite warriors and demons lies from within the city. Some of those . . being only High School students, and here now.. the tale of “Shinto” begins.

I'll make that right now! I can provide a more accurate and detailed 'story' if you'd like, but it's optional. I got the names by researching up some stuff. You don't have to be of Japanese descent either. In that world, there's only Japan. Consider it the only 'country' in the world.
