I love topics like this.
I am 23.
So firstly, I'll start with older people's opinion, which is... if you can't find a decent partner, don't marry, don't bring kids into the world to an unhappy family.
I agree with them on that level, but I think my bf is some relatively good husband material, and when I am ready, I will accept his proposal and walk down the isle with him.
My view of marriage (the idealistic one) is having a loving couple to start their own little family, take care of each other and their kids, and basically just be a family.
Which doesn't always happen, but yeah, we don't live in utopia, so couples break up and families break down.
As to cohabitation, I don't know yet because I haven't had lived with my bf for a long length of time, but from the 5 days away I spent with my bf, we got on okay.
Not sure what might happen though... when we have to go working and stuff...
