my reasoning is better than yours. Your reasoning is "they're doing their best guuuuuyyysssss!!" when they should have been doing their best months ago; they should have addressed this and they should have taken action. Numerous people suffered because Nexon did nothing, even with hundreds of complaints being filed. I don't rag on Nexon 24/7, check the Neo City thread in general, I completely defended putting that area in while everyone else peached. I am able to see what's good and what's bad, and most of the time it's bad.
And yes, I still believe 2x after an error is a scam, because it is. I don't complain about the 2x events during the anniversary, or the 2x scheduled throughout the month with a patch. Only when they use it to make up for something going wrong because they know full-well that they're going to make an assload off of it, and that's wrong. You shouldn't profit from your mistakes.
You just said yourself, you don't get it. Adding these preventative measures isn't bad; it's wonderful. No one here is complaining about this measure (unless they don't have access to their email address). They're complaining about the way they're going dealing with these issues. They aren't being honest with their customers, they aren't even addressing the problem, they're just trying to cover it up like sleazebags.
You can only move on once there is resolution, otherwise mistakes are bound to be repeated. Nexon will continue being a sleazy company if people don't stand up this time, just like they have in the past. Just like you allow them to do every time you go "GUYYYS THEY'RE JUST HUMAN!!" They are currently no better than the bank executives in america, and they need to be outed before they will change.
