so seems like thorn = active normal crit (archer's 1st job) party buff, or just a better SE. just look at the dk at the beginning of the video. he hits 4 crit with SE + thorn on his first hit to 3 monsters and his damage doubled

this is thorn + genesis, his damage tripled with thorn's crit
