Make sure you're in the popular family, steej in my case. And my Blaze wiz had some luck with rep but I jred my blaze wiz to my outlaw when he was 50 or so so that helped a lot . I still train him at 120 at ToT using up his rep to get PoT's and that still gets my corsair rep .

Size and popularity have no bearing on effectively accumulating rep. The best way to do it is to share 2x exp with your family members as often as possible. Even in a tiny family, rep will go through the roof if they're any good at training.
