Equipment and stats (and maybe buffs to show any overpowered damage) are a huge motivator in this game. If you reveal those things , then that gives others something to strive for no? Now you did at times show your damage which is a good thing. Not really interested in what damage you take from monsters though.
What you showed in your video is something any person playing any class can experience. Sorry, this video doesn't motivate me to keep playing my Hero.
And yes the "my friends are important" thing might be overused, but that is the case for most people. And trying to improve myself isn't really an interesting theme.
