Takebacker Wrote:That's nice and i agree with you, but that doesn't really change the fact that they are not only more interested in creating new classes but at the same time are uninterested in expanding this s'hit town. Regardless of the "potential" it has.
If only they realized that you DON'T need to spend s'hit loads of money to survive the place. No one cares that there isn't even any decent training spots. The main attraction is obviously the BOSSES. The only problem is that the bosses all have some form of attack (touch or otherwise) that can "OHKO MOST CHARACTERS OH GOD". I GOT AN IDEA LET'S THROW ALL STRATEGY OUT THE WINDOW AND NOT FIND A WAY TO AVOID IT. Don't have the skill to avoid it? Yeah sure, spend money on something people are INCLINED to do in the first place! Does that give nexon any reason to finally have morals and say "NO WE SHOULDN'T FORCE KIDS TO SPEND MONEY ON OUR COMPANY" when doing that PISSES OFF EVERYONE WHO CAN ACTUALLY USE THE AREA?
You're right, but that doesn't calm me down. Also, that isn't the reason i want neo tokyo at all. I couldn't care less about how "HOLY S'HIT BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF ROBOTS IN A FUTURISTIC TOWN? SOUNDS BADASS." it is.
Spoiler
Ranged classes navigate neo tokyo JUST FINE.
Most of what you've said is really unreasonable. What you want is not necessarily what's best for maple. You just said yourself, the appeal is the bosses. Well what good is that for people like me who want to do things solo or just don't care to scrounge up a party so we can inevitably die? If I wanted to do that I'd go fight Pink Bean. The area is broken as hell and while it might have been fun to fight some new bosses, all in all it's a big waste of effort.
Do you think that I have things to do if I ever decide to start playing again? I'm in the same boat as you. I want high level content, but I want GOOD high level content. I want things I can actually make use of, and Neo Tokyo doesn't fulfill that. It would just be another frustrating area that 95% of maple never really experiences because of boss-hogging, hard-to-manage parties, and the crappy areas leading up to the bosses.
Annnnd finally, Nexon KOREA has never forced anyone to spend NX. I respect them greatly for that, as a matter of fact. They have, in their many years of service, never forgotten that free to play should mean free to play, not free to access. Who knows though, if you're so desperate to spend money to access the area maybe Nexon America will implement the same ticket selling system as JMS.
