I personally think the magic formula shouldn't be changed. Mages are fast trainers, not bossers. You should keep / have kept that in mind when you decide to create a Magician. Giving them the ability to boss while still keeping they training speed would be unfair with any other job. So if If they do change it, I hope it is something regarding making Luk more usefull or making magic attack more Stable as fiel says, or better both.
I made a mage when I first joined the game in november 2005, before mages were regarded rediculously weak; we were the strongest in first job. So no, I didn't have that in mind when I made a magician because that wasn't the mindset. I've had this character for four years, but they should be bad bossers because they train fast? Mages are already close enough in bossing ability to other classes that its fair, considering the faster training speed. However, it's still very broken how an Onyx Apple barely raises a mage's DPS, while it gets close to doubling any weapon attack classes. I just want a formula that makes one MA something close to one WA.
