Oh hell no. I practically grew up on the jersey shore, and so I completely agree with the comment comparing the reality show to cancer. My only point with my previous comment was that this thread was generating serious hate when it was meant for anyone with a brain who dislikes the show to come and lol moar at Snooki. It's like Lady Gaga. A lot of people will tell you how much they hate her, but will listen to her songs and talk about her 24/7. Bad publicity is still publicity.
The U.S. Supreme Court just ruled that corporations can spend unlimited amounts lobbying Congress, so it really shouldn't be a surprise that MTV can get away with this show. The Power of the Almight Buck is quite wonderous. We're still ingesting high fructose corn syrup, mind you, and a pound of apples at Jewel costs the same as a Big Mac. But we can protest illogical food subsidies in another thread.
