Regarding the security of the addons in Firefox... I suppose thats true, however if you're really worried about a keylogger or other potential security threat residing in the actual site(and only site you would be loading the LiveCD for) then nobody is safe.

Yes, even Linux based operating systems can get viruses, but you'll have a hard time finding one. In terms of security, Linux based systems are better than Windows by far.

If you keep yourself safe, you shouldn't have a problem. That's normal, you just get extra safety with Linux.
