Second, you clearly have no idea of the power of bad press in America if you legitimately think what you're saying. Do you understand how difficult it is for ANY company to recover from a damaging story? Of course, for any corporation there are always some pitiful loyalists who will stick with them through thick and thin, but anyone with any sense would keep their distance if they hear anything that makes a company or organization sound bad or incompetent. You know why sites like the Consumerist or TripAdviser are so effective? Because if you read something bad about a place you're not likely to do business with them.
My analogy was adequate in describing the distinction between requesting, demanding and acting. It doesn't matter if it's your mom or the Bill Gates, if you do something that is like to damage that person's ability to operate as they wish, and you do it within the rules of the law, they will respond favourably in fear of the consequences. I'm sure that even someone as ignorant as you has seen cases of 'Bob Johnson's insurance wouldn't cover his bad heart, so he sent us this letter. The next day, his carrier phoned him up and told him he was accepted!' Nexon wouldn't recover from an article detailing that thousands of children's personal information is at risk when a lot of parents are already sketchy about letting their kids play online games.
Clearly you don't get how things work if you're so ignorant to dismiss the importance of bad press. You have no idea what you're talking about.
