If you're not going to do anything about it then don't complain. You've got a chance to do the right thing and you're going to let it pass due to some ridiculous irrational fear? The FBI isn't going to come investigate your house or anything, you'd just be submitting a short report detailing how much money you lost and verifying that your security was fine.
