This is a stupid reason to be anti-weed. People are affected by all sorts of things. Driving while talking on the phone or texting, or just not paying attention. You can't blame only potheads for being bad drivers because someone you know just happened to be hit by one of the idiots. Would you damn cellphones to hell if that's what caused the effect? Would you stop eating if the person had a burger shoved in their face at the time?
The point is, you've got to place blame properly in such an incident. Weed may have been a contributing factor but it wasn't the only one, I assure you. Put responsibility on the idiot who's actions caused whatever happened. If you allow "being high" to be an excuse for them then they get away with doing wrong while everyone else who does the same thing but doesn't hurt anyone else gets a bad reputation.
