I guess the videos clear up any questions about spawn rate. I hope this place gives a reason to be elemental, and also that maybe ultimates weren't the best way to train there.

The best way to train there probably would be not at all. Skeles and Newties still offer a 1:17 EXP/HP ratio. If the monsters lost 10% of their current max HP they'd be great. Either that or increase the EXP given by them.
