Haven't noticed any lag with the long-term medal, but [SIZE="5"]AAARRRGH 
the LIGHTBULB [/SIZE]
Ahem, excuse me, forgot this isn't the Angry Dome.
Anyway, even after you get the long-term medal, Cassandra wants to give you another 1-day medal, which she can't do unless you drop your long-term medal.
So the lightbulb pops up over your head and cannot be removed.
When did you say this event ends?
