Start MapleStory from the Website

Is there still the in-game login screen? I have two accounts I play pretty equally, it would be pretty crappy if I had to go to the site to change every time.

if you log in through the site, it goes straight to the server select screen.

Are you automatically logged on when the game opens or do you still have to enter your info in the client? Because it seems pretty weird to me for your account to be logged on if you just use "gamelauncher.exe". How does one use it anyway? Is it just in the MapleStory folder?

I really hate starting a game trough a site, it sucks if you switch accounts and the game seems to start a lot slower for me (my computer sucks though).

the account is automatically logged in if you start from the site. If you use gamelauncher.exe, it's exactly as it is now. It's just in the maple folder exactly like normal. The only difference is it'll give you a warning saying "you should log in through the site" and then you can say "no I don't want to".

Then what was the point of KMS doing it? im preety sure that 95% of the ppl use the gamelauncher.exe

it's mostly annoying in KMS because KMS require IE7 and... well, it's korean, so it's harder to navigate if you can't read it.

In KMS, they don't use the pin system like we do, so it's hard to know how that will work. They have a PIN/second password upon selecting the character though, so even if you like, walked away from your computer and left it logged in on the site/saved password/etc. they wouldn't be able to access your characters unless they had the second password. The second password is optional for them, though.
