I was under the impression suing someone was to recover lost profits. How can Nexon quantify lost profits for a free to play game?

Sueing isn't just for loss profits, its also for patent/copyright/trademark infringement, among other things.

I smell a HUGE financial compensation towards those guys from Nexon if Nexon fails here... 2 years and still no hard evidence given by Nexon... Even most murder trials are faster... :')

No, seriously? You need evidence to prove they were running a carbon copy of maplestory, using all the maplestory images and music, at the very least, regardless if they stole the rest of the code, is enough to get them in serious pomegranate.
