For the first portion, I find it completely ridiculous that Hyperhopper was the only one with an infraction. But like I said, I'm not surprised at the lack of rule enforcement on this forum anymore. Actually now that I think about it, what's the point of infractions anyway... they're rarely used when they should be and people just can just remake their account.
Also, sarcasm is a hard thing to comprehend on the internet no? He does have reason to get angry despite how strange his views and arguments might be. I think the members on this forum know people like that exist. Perhaps he hasn't been exposed to the views of others. Maybe considering his side of the story would be nice. Although I disagree with his views, I still feel badly for him.
It's kind of like the polygamist area Bountiful. The ladies there are totally fine and are happy knowing their husband has dozens of wives. They were raised learning this was good, and wouldn't you expect them to defend those views if you believed them to be right?
If you know he has some social problems, I think the best thing to do is to try and be friends or just do nothing (in contrast to throwing criticisms). He's not a bad person.
