The latest statement from 'HIME' on Nexon forums:

I'm going to say it again - we are investigating the issue and we are not ignoring anybody. This circular discussion is not productive nor helping the situation. So far in our investigation no evidence has come up showing negligence on our part regarding security. Yes, hackers are annoying and pose threats to people's accounts and enjoyment of the game. Our priority is to protect you. "

This is a slight change from earlier posts which had:
'There is no evidence pointing to a security breach on our database.'
(I guess that means that there was no flashing red light on the server and a voice saying 'intruder alert.....intruder alert')
So they have moved from 'no evidence of security breach' to 'no evidence of negligence'
I suppose that is progress. Maybe.
