Obligatory warning about the Funhouse:
Fresh start, eh? There's a pretty good number of us in Scania, Bera, Windia, and Khaini. Websites like Southperry with pretty close-knit communities are the best for making buddies in game. I know for a fact that most of the buddy list of BombsAway of this site has buddies mostly consisting of members from this site, and there's an entire friggin guild in Khaini. And even in Bera, there's a good community of Southperry members. If you're looking for people to hang with from here on where ever you may be starting, trying getting to know people before you make your choice.
