Ah, as was posted earlier, all fruits are vegetables but not all vegetables are fruit. Vegetables are defined as an edible part of a plant, whether it be leaves, stalks, roots, etc. A fruit is a part of the reproductive system of a plant. If you can eat it, it's a vegetable. If it has seeds in it, it's a fruit and a vegetable.
