Snipe in Other Versions of MS

Basically you're aiming to overlap a Strafe and Snipe cooldown's finishing moment? Also, I don't understand the delay. Does the cooldown process gets delayed before starting, or there is an additional invisible cooldown period after the normal one?

It's basically two cooldowns running at once, one dependant on when you use snipe that lasts 4 seconds and one independent of when you use snipe that refreshes in 5-second (+ short random lag) intervals. First, the 4 second cooldown on snipe has to complete, then only until a new 5ish-second cycle starts is snipe ready for use, so technically the cooldown becomes like 4-9 seconds. The idea is to consistently fit the 4-second cooldown within the ~5-second cycles.
